Here at Forest Contract, we love working on interesting projects such as this one. Jam Restaurants approached us looking to open their new eatery and bar in Liverpool, and we were more than happy to help supply them with their required furniture. Overall, we supplied 5 pieces of fixed seating, over 50 buttoned side chairs and bar stools, and a range of varying sized table bases and tops.
Buttoned Side Chairs
Every piece was made to the client’s specifications, and it resulted in a very funky and contemporary design. A range of our Manor Buttoned Side Chairs, bespoke deep buttoned and two buttoned side chairs were supplied-all of which had a similar design scheme, with a consistent pattern of faux leather and velvet, but some of the colours interchanged to keep the design looking fresh and varied throughout the venue. The chairs featured Lionella faux leather seats, Manhattan faux leather inside backs, and luxurious Lustro crushed velvet outside backs and contrasting buttons.
The banquette seating was made to exact measurements specified by Jam Restaurants, and the upholstery kept consistent with the desired design scheme and matched the side chairs perfectly. The fixed seating pieces were deep buttoned, circular booth style seats. They were upholstered in grey faux leather for the seats, and the same Manhattan faux leather inside backs as the buttoned side chairs. The kickboards were then finished in a black wood stain, the same as the legs on the chairs, which helped them to match the selection of our Profile black table bases.
Of course, equally funky tables were needed for this stylish venue. So, although the table bases may have been black, the table tops varied-with a mixture of white and grey marble effect tops in both square and circle shapes. The circle table tops were placed in the booth seating to match the circular shape, and the square ones cover the rest of the restaurant.
And what bar would be complete without some matching bar stools? So 4 of our Manor Bar Stools were supplied, which also featured the same lavender and silver colour crushed velvet as the buttoned side chairs, as well as chrome studding.
