- Clubhouse Refurbishment & Extension
- Complete Furniture Package
Bramhall Lane Lawn Tennis Club has called Ramsdale Road home since 1907. So when the clubhouse was refurbished and extended, the club wanted tennis club furniture to match its fresh new look.
Forest Contract supplied the complete package. It included tub chairs, lounge chairs, dining chairs and bar stools. Every piece also shares a warm palette of forest green, terracotta and linen.
As a result, members now have a smart, welcoming clubhouse to relax in after a match.
A Clubhouse for Every Part of the Day
The new clubhouse needed to work hard, so the tennis club furniture had to be flexible. Members gather for coffee in the morning, while teams meet for drinks after evening matches. Because of this, the furniture had to suit several different uses.
In short, the brief called for furniture that would:
- Create a relaxed lounge around the TV wall
- Also give members dining space near the bar
- Add high seating, so players can watch the courts
- Stand up to busy, everyday club use

Forest Green, Terracotta and Linen
First, we chose three fabrics that work together across the whole room. Forest green and terracotta come from the Panaz Highland range, while a soft linen comes from Panaz Harvard.
Every timber frame then has a rich walnut stain. Meanwhile, Tobacco Halifax Oak and white marble-effect tops add warmth and contrast.
Four Zones, One Clubhouse
Next, we planned the furniture around four distinct zones. Each one has its own job, yet the shared palette ties them all together.
The Lounge
First, tub chairs gather around low oak tables by the TV wall.
The Bar
Then terracotta bar stools line the fluted timber counter.
The Dining Area
Next, Sophia side chairs sit at marble-effect tables.
The Court View
Finally, green poseur stools face the floodlit courts.
Tennis Club Furniture Built for Comfort
The lounge is the heart of the clubhouse. Twenty EST tub chairs, in all three fabrics, sit around round oak coffee tables.
Because the colours are mixed, the room feels relaxed rather than formal. In addition, eight Lucy lounge chairs in forest green add extra comfort for longer chats.
