About pub furniture

Pub furniture that respects the building

Pubs need furniture that suits the building and still feels fresh. We have furnished Grade II listed inns in Lancashire, Staffordshire and Yorkshire, matching leathers and fabrics to existing carpets, beams and bars.

Banquettes, sofas and tub chairs are made in our workshops, and timber finishes can be colour-matched to your bar and floor, as we did for a brasserie in West Lancashire.

We furnish free houses and pub groups alike, with chairs, tables, bar stools, booth seating and sofas on one order, delivered to site or installed by our team.

Questions we are often asked

Can you match our existing furniture?

Yes. At the Red Lion at Bradley, we matched leathers and patterned fabrics to the existing chairs, carpet and paintwork.

Do you furnish pub bedrooms too?

Yes. We made the beds for the Assheton Arms in Downham, upholstered in the owners' own fabrics.

Is your pub seating fire-safe?

Yes. Every upholstered piece we supply meets BS 5852 (CRIB 5), the fire standard for contract seating in pubs, restaurants, hotels and other public venues.

What furniture does a pub need?

Most pubs mix seating: sturdy dining chairs and tables for food, bar stools at the counter, banquettes or booths along the walls, and a few sofas or armchairs by the fire. A beer garden adds outdoor chairs and tables.

What is the most hard-wearing upholstery for a pub?

Faux leather and coated fabrics wipe clean and stand up to spills; real leather suits traditional bars and improves with age. Look for a high rub count and CRIB 5.

Do you supply pub tables?

Yes. Table tops in solid ash, veneer, laminate and cultured marble pair with iron, steel and timber bases in dining, coffee and poseur heights.
