Buying from us
Who do you sell to?
We sell to the trade only: the people who run commercial venues, such as hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars, cafés, clubs, holiday parks and student accommodation, and the interior designers who work with them.
Is there a minimum order?
No. There is no minimum order, and larger orders earn volume discounts.
Which venues do you furnish?
We furnish hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars, cafés, golf and sports clubs, holiday parks and lodges, and student accommodation, and many other commercial spaces. See our projects for examples.
Can you supply everything for a venue?
Yes. Alongside the sofas, beds, headboards, banquettes, tub chairs and footstools we make in our own workshops, we supply chairs, bar stools, tables and outdoor furniture, so a whole scheme can go on one order. We scale production to demand, so the size of a project is rarely a limit.
Can you help with the design?
Yes. Our in-house interior design team can put together a scheme for your venue, from mood boards to fabrics and finishes.
How do we get a price?
Add the designs you like to your enquiry list and send it to us, or call us on 0161 737 6918. A member of our contract team will reply, usually the same working day.
Lead times and delivery
What are your lead times?
Bespoke and made-to-order furniture takes from four weeks. Stocked items are available from next-day delivery: see our express orders.
Can you work to our opening date?
Yes. Tell us your opening date and we plan sign-off, making, delivery and installation back from it, so everything arrives together.
Do you deliver and install?
Yes. We deliver across the UK and can arrange delivery to Ireland and further afield, quoted on request: we have supplied coffee shops as far away as the Middle East. Installation can be arranged too.
Fabrics, fire safety and samples
What fire standards does your furniture meet?
Our upholstered furniture is made to meet BS 5852 (CRIB 5), the fire standard for contract upholstery, in line with UK contract furniture regulations and the guidance of Commercial Interiors UK (formerly the BCFA) and FIRA. Our fabric partners, such as Sunbury and Sekers, can give the fire details of each fabric. Our guide to furniture fire safety explains the rules.
Can we use our own fabric?
Yes. We call this COM, customer's own material. Each design has a COM price, which is its price without fabric. You can send us your own fabric, or choose any fabric in the world and we add its price per metre, times the metres each piece needs, to give you the finished price. Your fabric needs to meet CRIB 5, or be treated to it.
Can we have samples?
Yes. Fabric and finish samples are free for all genuine trade enquiries. Add the ones you like to your enquiry list as you browse our fabrics and finishes, or ask your account manager.
Accounts and visits
Can we open a trade account with credit?
Yes. Credit is available, subject to an application and approval. Ask us for a trade account application.
Can we visit your showroom?
Yes. Our showroom at Newbury House, Ford Lane, Salford M6 6PD is open seven days a week. Our contract team is there Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm, and Friday, 8.30am to 1.30pm; at weekends, book an appointment to meet them. See how to find us.
