Parksnasilla Resort & Spa, Ireland

Parksnasilla Resort & Spa is a high-end resort and spa that resides in an 18th-century manor house and sits on 500 acres of land along Kennmare Bay in Ireland. Forest Contract were first approached in early 2015 with the premise of supplying a number of bar stools and chairs to replace their existing set in their ‘Doolittle Bar’. For this particular venue, the proprietors of Parksnasilla had a designated project designer on hand to liaise with our sales staff in order to find the ideal furniture designs for the venue. With our own interior designer on hand, the Forest Contract team were able to work closely with Parksnasilla’s designated designer, working to spec and budget.

With a dedicated designer on hand to liaise with our sales team, this was a streamlined operation which has seen the Doolittle bar transformed and updated whilst keeping the original look and feel of the venue, with it’s up-market feel that guests and patrons have become accustomed to. Although on this occasion Forest Contract were able to liaise with a dedicated interior designer, we do also offer our own interior design service available on request.

For the restaurant area of the venue, our Swanson Armchair made up the bulk of the order with solid beech-wood table tops to finish off the look. The wooden furniture was finished in an array of dark brown wood stains with Parksnasilla dedicated designer choosing a range of bespoke fabrics for their upholstered furniture.

Adding your own fabric to your chairs and armchairs can be a great way to add character and charm to your venue, helping your venue stand out from your competitors and ultimately increase ROI by giving your customers a bespoke experience and atmosphere with furniture that adds to your brand recognition.

Parksnasilla Resort & Spa now has a warm and welcoming feel, with fabric and leather designs that run throughout the venue, from the pub and dining area up through to the hotel bedrooms. Premium products have been used throughout, with hard wooden frames used for all the furniture. When furnishing a restaurant or bar it is important the fabrics not only influence the aesthetics of the venue, but they also comply to the latest UK legislation to ensure that the fabric is durable enough for commercial use whilst also complying to fire safety standards. As one of the UK’s top commercial furniture contractors, we understand the need for the fire safety and so we ensure all of our products comply with the highest fire safety regulations.

Having now placed more than 3 orders since early 2015, Forest Contract continues to work with Parksnilla Resort & spa on a number of projects to help keep the venue regularly updated for its up-market clientele.
