Forest Contract Have furnished AMT’s flagship store in Dublin airport. The brand is a growing fair trade coffee company with 60 stores in the UK. Forest supplied tables, tub chairs and stools.

Forest Contract have recently won a contract to supply The National Trust. We will be supplying Sizergh Castle in Cumbria with Fixed Seating, Cafe Chairs, Sofas, Cafe Tables and Cube Stools.

Forest Contract have recently supplied contract furniture to Gordon Ramsay’s York & Albany restaurant in London. Bar Stools upholstered in durable faux leather were used to add style and design to the venue.

The DoubleTree Hotel and Spa

The DoubleTree Hotel and Spa is an 18^th Century manor situated in 12 acres of picturesque, landscaped countryside two miles away from the historic city of Chester. The spa offers a variety of relaxing and therapeutic treatments to suit your needs, whether it is thermal outdoor pools, fitness suites, or meditation rooms. The steakhouse ran by Michelin star chef Marco Pierre White is a restaurant that offers superior quality and should undoubtedly be on your to do list. Also located near Cheshire Oaks and Chester zoo, attractions outside of the Hotel grounds also offer days of entertainment and enjoyment.

The furniture

Here at Forest, we were tasked with designing and manufacturing a completely bespoke range of furniture which included ten sofas, 30 chairs and a large, velvet, deep buttoned banquette seating piece for the foyer and supplying the necessary quantity to add to the stunning foyer. We worked alongside our long-standing trusted interior design partners, PS Interiors, to help custom design these new pieces which add to the DoubleTree’s elegant yet modern style in the classic setting.

The sofas were finished in a combination of two fabrics, one being dark velvet, the other being a light and dark grey mixed fabric, making an eye catching piece. The bespoke chairs feature buttoned backs and a curved design offering comfort and style. Each of these was finished in a light beige fabric with lighter lines coming from the buttons and reaching the edges of the back. The statement piece, our custom bespoke banquette seating, is a large blue velvet piece. This stands tall in the foyer offering 4 seating sections and sophisticated studded edges.

The exquisite hotel, along with its amazing facilities and sophisticated design has even encouraged our managing director to book a stay there with his wife, with him describing the DoubleTree as having a “fantastic location and spa” and another reason to stay was because it is so close to the beautiful city of Chester and its cathedral.
