Ohio Grande Arm Chair
A deep, rounded back that curves into the arms, fully upholstered, on splayed timber legs.
Colchester Arm Chair
A winged back and scrolled arms with piped edges: a traditional upholstered carver.
Café furniture that works all day
Café seating has to be comfortable enough to linger in and tough enough for all-day trade. We have furnished cafés in a garden centre, a hospice atrium, a Victorian courthouse and a former fire station, often designing the room as well as supplying it.
Our in-house designers produce 2D plans and concepts, as they did for Whitakers Garden Centre, and we can match a scheme you already have, as we did for Farleigh Hospice.
Questions we are often asked
Can you design our café layout?
Yes. Our in-house designers can produce 2D CAD plans and concept proposals, then specify every piece.
How quickly can you deliver?
It depends on the designs and fabrics. The café at Farleigh Hospice was delivered within four to six weeks, and our express range includes stock items delivered in days.
What café furniture is easiest to keep clean?
Choose wipe-clean faux leather or a waterproof fabric for seats, avoid deep buttoning on seat cushions where crumbs collect, and use laminate or sealed tops. Our range A and B fabrics include waterproof and antimicrobial options chosen for exactly this.
Is your café seating fire-safe?
Yes. Every upholstered piece we supply meets BS 5852 (CRIB 5), the fire standard for contract seating in pubs, restaurants, hotels and other public venues.
What tables suit a café?
Laminate and cultured marble tops are the easiest to keep clean through a busy day. Smaller tops, about 600 to 700 mm, can be pushed together for groups.
