Leather offcuts for New Mills School's textiles course
We donated more than 50 kg of leather offcuts from our workshops to New Mills School, for its new design and technology course in advanced textiles.
New Mills School in Derbyshire launched a new design and technology course in advanced textiles, and we were glad to help. We gave the school more than 50 kg of leather offcuts from our workshops, for students to cut, stitch and make with.
The donation also kept the leather out of landfill. We plan to keep working with the school as the course grows.
