Award season 2026: the pubs, hotels, restaurants and clubs that took the prizes

Pubs

• Great British Pub Awards (Leeds, 23 September): The Tamworth Tap was named Great British Pub of the Year. The Lion at Malpas won Best Inn, The Maltings in Warrington won Best Pub for Dogs, and the Kirkstyle Inn at Slaggyford won Best Pub for Food.
• CAMRA National Pub of the Year: the four finalists are The Cockpit (Chislehurst), the Countryman's Inn (Hunton), the Tamworth Tap and the Turks Head (St Helens). The winner is announced in January.
• CAMRA Pub Design Awards, run with Historic England (June): The Woodman in Digbeth won for conservation, Blue Stoops in London and St Peter's Tavern in Liverpool shared the award for conversion to pub use, the Leyton Engineer won for refurbishment and the Lord Southampton for the best community local.

Hotels and restaurants

• AA Hospitality Awards (London, 21 September): the Hotels of the Year were Calcot & Spa (England), The Emory (London), Crossbasket Castle (Scotland), Porth Tocyn (Wales) and Culloden Estate & Spa (Northern Ireland). The Penny Bun in Otley was Inn of the Year.
• National Restaurant Awards (June): Bouchon Racine was named the best restaurant in the UK, Moor Hall at Aughton in Lancashire came fifth, and The Devonshire was Gastropub of the Year.
• VisitEngland Awards for Excellence (June): the Kirkstyle Inn was Pub of the Year, and Clawford Lakes won the camping, glamping and holiday park award.

Golf clubs and garden centres

• England Golf Awards (Manchester, 3 March): The Club at Mill Green was Club of the Year, and Cheshire Golf was County of the Year.
• Garden Centre Association catering awards (Carden Park, Cheshire, January): Ruxley Manor, Klondyke Astbury Meadow and Raglan won in the destination, garden centre and local categories.

Congratulations, Ascot

Ascot Racecourse, one of the venues we have supplied, was named the Racecourse Association's Showcase Champion Racecourse for 2025 last November, the first course to win the title three times. It also took the Green Award and the award for exceptional raceday delivery.
