Apprenticeships at our Salford factory
Apprentices have long been part of how we train upholsterers and grow our team. In 2017 we had three upholstery apprentices in our Salford factory.
In 2017 we had three upholstery apprentices learning the trade in our Salford factory, and two marketing apprentices joining the wider group. We worked with North Lancashire Training Group, B2W Complete Training Group, Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Salford to train them.
Apprenticeships have shaped our own team too. Chris Allen, then our senior sales manager, joined us six years earlier as a Level 2 business administration apprentice. Kim Walker, then our retail sales manager, joined on a university placement year after her degree in international business.
